With backyard BBQ’s starting in early spring and lasting until way past the holidays, hot sauce and barbecue sauce wedding favors will be a big hit with your friends and family.
Even though western themes might be the obvious choice for this type of a favor, these can be enjoyed the entire year and will work for just about any theme – from backyard bbq’s to cozy winter events.
To make them work with any theme all you have to do is pick the kind of labels you like or fit with your theme. You can also serve’em up a little differently depending on your theme. For example, a big’ole bucket would be cool if you’re keeping it casual – like in your backyard. A lovely table display would be better suited to more “saucey” to-do’s.
Here are a Couple of Options I Like
Fun Ways To Personalize Your Favors
Instead of including your name and date on the label, come up with a fun, cheeky name for the hot/bbq sauce (i.e. Flamin’ Hot Louisiana Steak Sauce)
Get ribbons that match your theme, but modify it slightly for the men and women
Add a hangtag that includes your favorite BBQ and Hot Sauce recipes – OR instead of a typical label, your label can include a recipe title and then details (fun!!!) (i.e. Grooms Spicy BBQ Chicken Recipe)
Need help finding the perfect labels?
If you’re DIY’ing get custom labels or want some extra labels a great place to get them is My Wedding Labels (my favorite place for wedding labels). They have a ton of options to choose from and you don’t have to order a huge amount. And, if you have something specific in mind for a little bit extra you can send them a custom design.
Do you like this idea but think they might out of your price range?
I consider these favors somewhat affordable, costing between $3 and $6 per bottle, depending on where you get them. But, they still might be a bit much depending on your priorities and the size of your guest list. If you love them don’t fret, there are 5 other wedding-related occasions that they’re perfect for!
- The Rehearsal Dinner
- The Bachelor Party
- Grooms Gifts
- A gift for out of town guests
- Prizes for games and activities at your reception
